NPD officers put on administrative leave
NORFOLK, Neb. -- It has been confirmed that two Norfolk Police Division supervisors have been placed on administrative leave.
Nick Stevenson confirmed, to News Channel Nebraska, Friday morning that Chief of Police Don Miller and Capt. Chad Reiman have been placed on administrative leave.

The City of Norfolk would like to inform citizens that Police Chief Don Miller and Captain Chad Reiman have been placed on administrative leave. During this time, it is essential to ensure that all actions and decisions are made in the best interest of the community. In addition, all employees are entitled to due process.
This administrative leave is not disciplinary in nature, nor should it be interpreted as a pre-judgment of any kind. As a matter of policy and to protect the integrity of the City and all parties involved, personnel matters are strictly confidential.
The City remains dedicated to protecting the privacy rights of all employees. Members of the press and public seeking more information are encouraged to direct their inquiries to Norfolk City Administrator Andy Colvin. However, confidentiality of personnel matters limits the information that can be shared and there will be no further comment provided at this time.
