Norfolk man identified in fatal plane crash

A Norfolk man has been identified as the pilot killed in a plane crash in northeast Nebraska.

NORFOLK, Neb. -- A Norfolk man has been identified as the pilot killed in a plane crash in northeast Nebraska.

The Nebraska State Patrol said 73-year-old Joseph Rudloff was the lone occupant of the plane which crashed in a field southwest of Crofton.

The crash was reported to authorities Monday morning.

No word yet on what caused the crash. The NTSB is investigating that scene, and another about 50 miles away near Wayne.

Authorities have yet to give further details on that crash.
