NEBRASKA -- Verizon users have reported network issues across the state as well as nationally. 

News Channel Nebraska reached out to Verizon on the matter and they said, "Verizon engineers are making progress on our network issue and service has started to be restored. We know how much people rely on Verizon and apologize for any inconvenience some of our customers experience today. We continue to work around the clock to fully resolve this issue."

Around 11 a.m. CT, Verizon tweeted on X (Formerly Twitter), "We are aware of an issue impacting service for some customers. Our engineers are engaged and we are working quickly to identify and solve the issue."

According to Downdetector reports of Verizon network issues started around 8:30 a.m. with a few hundred people reporting problems. Just after 10 a.m., those reports reached more than 100,000.
