Search continues for missing Crofton boy

The Knox County Sheriff's Office says they are still searching for Holden Duncan, who was last seen on Oct. 21 around 4:15 p.m.

UPDATE: Oct. 24, 2024 11:45 a.m. - The Nebraska State Patrol has cancelled the Endangered Missing Advisory for Holden Duncan.

The NSP said that the alert has been cancelled because Holden has been found safe.

 

CROFTON, Neb. -- Updated at 1:50 p.m. Oct. 23, 2024 - An Endangered Missing Advisory has been activated for the whereabouts of Holden Duncan. The advisory was issued by Nebraska Law Enforcement. 

The Knox County Sheriff's Office says they are still searching for Holden Duncan, who was last seen on Oct. 21 around 4:15 p.m.

Holden Duncan, also known as Holden Ouding, was last seen by the Crofton High School. He was reported missing at 9:50 p.m. on Oct. 21.

There was a search done on the night of Oct. 21 into the early morning hours of Oct. 22. The search continued after sunup on Oct. 22. 

Crofton Fire and Rescue along with the Knox County Sheriff's Office, Nebraska Game & Parks Com mission, Nebraska State Patrol, Yankton County Serarch and Rescue, Bloomfield & Lindy Fire and Rescue, and others coordinated a search of the City of Crofton, as well as the surrounding countryside on foot and in the air using drones and a helicopter. 

Holden is 11 years old with sandy brown hair. He is 4'3" and about 80 lbs. 

He was last seen wearing a black long sleeve Under Armour shirt, black sweatpants, black Nike shoes with a white swoosh. He also wears glasses.
