STANTON, Neb. -- Law enforcement in northeast Nebraska arrested a 32-year-old man on an arrest warrant.

The Stanton County Sheriff's Office said that on Saturday around 1:40 p.m., they went up to a broken-down vehicle on Highway 57, about seven miles south of Stanton.

SCSO said the man, 32-year-old Chad Rokahr, was standing outside the vehicle and was recognized as a wanted person out of Madison County. Law enforcement said when they first spoke with him, he gave them a fake name.

Authorities positively identified Rokahr and took him into custody for an arrest warrant.

After arresting Rokahr, officers did a search of his vehicle and found methamphetamine, which Rokahr admitted belonged to him.

SCSO said they also found marijuana and other drug paraphernalia, and the driver, a 61-year-old Columbus man, was cited for second-offense possession of those items.

Rokahr was jailed on the felony drug charge and warrant, and awaits the setting of a cash bond.
