Gov. Pillen to be discharged from Nebraska Medicine Friday

The Governor's office says that Gov. Jim Pillen is to be discharged from the hospital on Friday.

LINCOLN, Neb. -- The Governor's office says that Gov. Jim Pillen is to be discharged from the hospital on Friday. 

Pillen will be discharged from Nebraska Medicine in Omaha, where he has been treated for injuries following a horse-riding accident that happened on Dec. 22. 

He will be continuing his recovery at his home and plans to be back doing office activities next week.
