Connor Christo was the cog that made the Cardinal machine roll, helping create good shot opportunities and divisively cut to the basket on his own.
Boone Central opened up the game with a 10-0 run before Jaxon Kilmurry stopped the bleeding with 5 straight points.
Freshman Kaden Miller was a key scoring option for Boone Central, going 4-4 on three pointers in the first half.
Connor Christo continued to be a lethal weapon, scoring 17 points in the first half, along with grabbing 5 rebounds.
Boone Central led 41-23 at halftime and didn't skip a beat into the third quarter.
Killmurry and MJ Wragge were able to find success for Battle Creek, but without slowing down Christo and company, the margin never got any tighter.
Boone Central's 32-point win was a statement, helping the Cardinals improve to 10-7 on the season.
Christo led the way with 30 points in the win, four points shy of a career high. Kaden Miller added 16 points along with Dalton Young scoring 9 and Brogan Benes scoring 8.
MJ Wragge led scoring for Battle Creek with 18 points, followed by 14 points from Jaxon Kilmurry.
With both teams being in Class C1, District 8, we could see a rematch later this season.
