Quick response from Norfolk fire division to house fire

The sole occupant of a Norfolk home was able to evacuate without sustaining any injuries.

Norfolk, Neb. -- The Norfolk Fire Division responded to a house fire call at approximately 3:27 p.m. Upon arrival at the scene, firefighters observed that the fire was already extinguished, though smoke remained visible.

After entering the residence to assess the situation, the fire division reported damage to the front porch and front door area. Fortunately, the sole occupant of the home was able to evacuate without sustaining any injuries.

Following a thorough investigation, the Norfolk Fire Division has determined that the fire was accidental and have found no signs of suspicious activity.
