STANTON, Neb. — A northeast Nebraska man is recovering from serious injuries after what's being called a fluke accident.

Stanton County authorities say they believe the accident happened Thursday night but wasn't discovered until Friday morning.

Investigators say a man from Madison was driving a pickup that was towing another pickup on a dirt road southeast of Norfolk. Both vehicles left the road and rolled.

The driver was trapped in his vehicle. A news release says a nearby farmer helped and took him to the hospital.

We don’t have an update on his condition.
