PIERCE, Neb.- Vote results came back not in favor of the eight figure bond on Tuesday evening.

With a difference of more than 20% most voters deciding against close to $26 million of taxes for the Pierce Public School district.

The Pierce County Courthouse saying more than 1,100 people turning down the increased taxes on their property to make additions and renovations to the elementary and high school buildings, on top of a variety of other updates across the board

Only slightly more than 700 people saying they would be willing to pay the increase in taxes, according to unofficial results. 

The county has said they had a 71% voter turnout.
