GRAND ISLAND - The Nebraska State Fair reports strong attendance and guest satisfaction for its 2025 run.

Favorable weather, as forecast on site by News Channel Nebraska chief forecaster Kent Boughton, is credited for people reporting a longer stay at the fairgrounds.

Overall guest satisfaction was up 2.5 percent compared to last year and 80 percent of attendees reported the fair as a fun experience.

Total attendance of 334,383 was a 6 percent increase over the prior year.
