Overnight road work on Hwy 81 in Norfolk

NORFOLK, Neb.- The city of Norfolk will be continuing the milling work on Hwy 81.

On Sunday, crews will be working overnight in the southbound outside lane between Norfolk Ave. and Pasewalk Ave. will asphalt paving will follow.

“The southbound outside lane work between Norfolk Avenue and Pasewalk Avenue is a City project. South of Pasewalk Avenue, all lanes will be milled and overlaid as part of a Nebraska Department of Transportation project,” the City of Norfolk said in a news release.

Drivers are advised to use caution when driving on uneven lanes in construction areas.
