LINCOLN, Neb. - Nebraska is off to a 2-0 start to the year after wins over Cincinnati under the lights at Arrowhead and a thumping of Akron in Saturday night's home opener.

Now the Huskers are set to take on FCS representative Houston Christian out of the Southland Conference. One change this weekend for the Big Red - the schedule. Nebraska will play their first day game of the season.

Despite the 11:00 a.m. kickoff, Matt Rhule says he has full faith in Husker Nation.

"Our fans are going to show up at the legacy walk, they're going to be at the game and be amazing," Rhule said. "I sat there [Saturday] with the recruits and told them 'Look up at the student section...' at the end of the game I was telling people, 'Look how many people are still at the game'... It's unreal. I bet it'll be pretty good."

As for the schedule, Rhule noted it's obviously a change, but being a morning practice team, he thinks it could work in Nebraska's favor.

"I come walking in here around 5:45-6:00 a.m. and there's guys walking in," Rhule said. "We're kind of an early morning organization so early games are something we should hopefully be locked in for.

Nebraska and Houston Christian kick off at 11:00 a.m. central time on Saturday.
