Portion of a road closing in Norfolk temporarily

A main road in Norfolk will be closing starting Monday, residents need to find alternate routes.

NORFOLK, Neb.- A small portion of a road in Norfolk will be closing starting Monday, residents need to find alternate routes.

The west side of South 25th Street along West Omaha Avenue, south of Walmart, will be getting concrete repaired, resulting in a temporary road closure.

"Motorists are advised to plan ahead and use alternate routes while repairs are underway, and work is expected to last a week weather permitting," according to a news release.
