MADISON, Neb. - The City of Madison is asking to hear feedback from residents on how to improve community services.

The Northeast Nebraska Economic Development District asked the city to conduct a survey.

City of Madison Economic Development Director Andy Colvin says the city is looking at different infrastructure improvements and wants the public's input.

“ Its going to give some data some information to the city officials so that when their budgeting and their planning for where they want to invest in, what do we want to do wether its parks, weather it infrastructure, street improvements, economic development all these things,”Said Colvin. "They want to have a guide from the public to try and steer them in the right direction.”

The city says the survey will be online, and paper copies are available at the local chamber of commerce and at city hall.

The survey is expected to be available for a month or until a majority of the public responds.

Colvin excepts to be able to present his findings in about two months in a city council meeting that would be open to the public.
