Norfolk man accused of sexually assaulting a child

A 50-year-old man from northeast Nebraska has been arrested on multiple felony charges related to the alleged sexual abuse of a young girl.

NORFOLK, Neb. — A 50-year-old man from northeast Nebraska has been arrested on multiple felony charges related to the alleged sexual abuse of a young girl.

Henry Pena-Urrutia was taken into custody over the weekend in the Woodland Park neighborhood in Norfolk. According to the Stanton County Sheriff’s Office, the victim is a girl younger than 11, and investigators say the assaults happened multiple times inside Pena-Urrutia’s home.

Two children living in the residence were placed in the custody of the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services.

Pena-Urrutia faces three counts of third-degree sexual assault of a child and three counts of child abuse.
