Accident in Hall County claims life of one, others injured

HALL COUNTY, Neb.-- One person has died following a two-vehicle crash on Highway 30 Tuesday evening in Hall County.
Authorities say a car turning east onto HWY 30 failed to yield, and collided with a truck going west.
The driver of the car, 70-year-old Carolynn Luce of Central City, was taken to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead.
A juvenile passenger who was in Luce's car was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the truck, 20-year-old Alexis Cavazos of Grand Island, was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Authorities say seat belts were in use, and alcohol is not suspected.
The crash remains under investigation.
