Kimball County Sheriff’s Office investigates theft

The Kimball County Sheriff’s Office is searching for the owner of a truck believed to be involved in a theft at a residence south of Dix.

KIMBALL COUNTY -- The Kimball County Sheriff’s Office is searching for the owner of a truck believed to be involved in a theft at a residence south of Dix. 

Sheriff David Hottell said an individual broke into a house and stole some items, and based on cameras around the property, authorities know that the individual was driving a blue Ford Ranger. 

Authorities are asking the public to report any sitings of the vehicle to the sheriff’s office.  

No further details are being released, as it is an ongoing investigation.
