Certified Nurses Day is today

COLUMBUS -- Today marks a celebration for certified nurses. Columbus Community Hospital recognized their staff today.

Nurse Lisa Perrin shared why she loves her job.

"I love my job because I get to take care of patients," Perrin said. She sees their progression and likes to get to know the families.

She said she is a "lot happier" than she was this time last year, as the pandemic is ending compared to the beginning.

She asks more people to get vaccinated.
