Early morning shooting sends one man to the hospital

A shooting at 27th and Laurel in Omaha has sent a man to the hospital.

OMAHA, Neb. - A shooting at 27th and Laurel in Omaha has sent a man to the hospital.

The shooting happened at approximately 4:00 a.m., according to Omaha Police.

Authorities say the found the 59-year-old victim and transported him to the hospital, where his injuries were deemed non-life-threatening.

OPD is investigating the shooting. No other details were made available Saturday morning.
