WICHITA, Kan. – The season came to an end for the Northeast Community College women’s soccer team on Tuesday, falling to Muskegon Community College, 2-0 at the Stryker Complex in Wichita, Kan.

After tallying 17 total wins in 2021, the most in program history, the Hawks (17-7-1) couldn’t find any offensive momentum against the Jayhawks. Muskegon outshot the Hawks, 11-7. Naomi Pedroza (Hastings, Neb.), Hannah Cherven (Brighton, Colo.), and Romeni Gurmendi (Boulder, Colo.) each tallied a shot on goal for the Hawks.

The Hawks graduate a talented class of nine sophomores who amassed 30 wins in two seasons at Northeast.
