Pedestrian struck, two vehicles collide on Pasewalk in Norfolk

A two-vehicle accident involving a pedestrian sent one person to the hospital in Norfolk Monday night.

NORFOLK, Neb. -- A two-vehicle accident involving a pedestrian sent one person to the hospital in Norfolk Monday night.

Sgt. James Kelley of the Norfolk Police Division says a pedestrian was struck while crossing Pasewalk Avenue at a crosswalk east of Taylor Avenue.

According to Kelley, the vehicle that struck the pedestrian came to an abrupt stop and was rear-ended by a second vehicle.

The pedestrian was transported to Faith Regional Emergency by Norfolk Fire and Rescue with non-life-threatening injuries.

The drivers of the vehicles were not injured in the crash.
