Santa on hand for Verges Holiday Festival in Norfolk

The Elkhorn Valley Museum in Norfolk hosted the Verges Holiday Festival on Sunday evening.

Santa was on hand hearing Christmas wishes for the kids in the cabin right outside the museum.

A tree lighting took place later in the festival, along with beer and wine tasting with also a jazz band on hand for entertainment.

Libby McKay, who is the Education Coordinator at the Elkhorn Valley Museum, said the festival was great for spreading holiday joy to the Norfolk community.

"I think events like this are just great for building that sense of community and getting to kind of reacquaint ourselves after a few years of things being shut down," said McKay.

This was also the Elkhorn Valley Museum's first time hosting a holiday festival in the museum and Verges Park.
