Weekend deer vs. vehicle crash leaves one injured in O'Neill

A vehicle vs. deer accident left one person with injuries over the weekend in O'Neill.

O'NEILL, Neb. -- A vehicle vs. deer accident left one person with injuries over the weekend in O'Neill. 

The Holt County Sheriff's Office said that Thursday, around 6:00 a.m. a 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix was heading east on 873rd Rd. 

The Sheriff's office said the vehicle, driven by a 27-year-old Stuart woman, hit a deer on the roadway. 

Officials said that the vehicle then entered the north ditch and rolled twice before coming to a rest on its top. 

O'Neill Fire and Rescue responded to the crash. 

It was reported that the driver was transported to a local hospital due to the injuries sustained in the crash.

The vehicle was totaled from damages.
