Former Nebraska quarterback Adrian Martinez was selected with the 15th pick in the 2023 USFL Draft by the New Jersey Generals.

With the 8 teams from the USFL’s inaugural season set to return for year two, the league is now the first of its kind in 40 years to not fold before year 2.

As a four-year starter and three-year captain, Martinez tallied over 8,000 passing yards and threw for 45 touchdowns while with the huskers.

After using his last year of eligibility with Kansas State, Martinez will now turn his attention to professional football.
