LINCOLN - For the second time in school history, and the first time in over 10 years, Pender can call themselves girls basketball state champions. 

The Pendragons staved off a late surge from Oakland-Craig to score a 45-42 win. The Pendragons were led in scoring by Maya Dolliver with 16 points, three assists, and three rebounds, followed by Kirsten Frey with a dozen, to go along with two rebounds. 

Oakland-Craig was led by the games leading scorer, Chaney Nelson, with 18.
