One person is in critical condition after a Sunday shooting in Omaha.

OMAHA, Neb. -- One person is in critical condition after a Sunday shooting in Omaha.

The Omaha Police Department said Sunday evening that is investigating a shooting that injured one person earlier in the day.

Officers responded to shots fire near N. 25th and Taylor Streets shortly after 3:45 a.m.

The 911 call was upgraded to a shooting one block away on Ames Avenue.

A 20-year-old man was found with a gunshot wound. He was taken to Nebraska Medicine in critical condition.
