Beckenhauer Construction grant program applications open
NORFOLK, Neb. -- On Monday, Beckenhauer Construction, Inc. (BCI) announced they are accepting applications from organizations and individuals looking for community-base grant funding.
BCI is a Norfolk based commercial general contractor.
The grants will be distributed through Beckenhauer Construction Donor-Advised Fund.
BCI said this allows them to give back to the communities their employees are a part of.
"On behalf of the ownership team and the employees who work for BCI, we are happy to begin the formal process of internally funding our ability to give back to the communities that support us as we build in their hometons," said Joe Beckenhauer, BCI president and CEO. "Our projects are often long-term, and our employees become integral parts of those communities because they live there while the project is underway. Becoming part of the community where we work gives us insight into needs and dreams that may exist without funding sources in those communities."
The money granted from the program will go toward community-based projects and programming, especially those targeting children, veterans and the elderly.
The grant program is affiliated with the Nebraska Community Foundation.
"It may not be that a project or vision within a community needs a grant of money -- they may need manpower, or expertise, to make something come to life," Beckenhauer said. "We are prepared to give our financial support, but also of our time and talents to help build and finish a project that simply lacks horsepower."
