Omaha shooting leaves one injured

OMAHA, Neb. -- OPD said they are investigating a shooting that happened Wednesday night. 

Officials said officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert around 8:05 p.m. at 3025 Meredith Avenue. 

Authorities said when they arrived they found a woman in an alley with a gunshot wound. 

OPD said medics transported the victim, a 37-year-old woman, with a non-life-threatening injury. 
 
The investigation is ongoing.
