Work to be done on Monroe Avenue
The City of Norfolk said that Monroe Avenue will be closed starting July 31.
NORFOLK, Neb. -- The City of Norfolk said that Monroe Avenue will be closed starting July 31.
The City said Monroe will be closed for asphalt overlay and concrete repair work.
Monroe will be closed from First St. to the Transfer Station, and Fourth St. to First St. will be partially closed with flagging operations.
There will be a detour route of First St. to Omaha Ave. then east of Omaha Ave./Highway 275, then south on Victory Road should be used.
The work on Monroe Ave. is expected to last two weeks.
