Two suspects have been arrested in connection to string of Omaha robberies

Omaha law enforcement said they have arrested two suspects in connections to robberies that have spanned over the last couple of weeks.

OMAHA, Neb. -- Omaha law enforcement said they have arrested two suspects in connections to robberies that have spanned over the last couple of weeks. 

Omaha Police Robbery Unit detectives arrested 29-year-old Wayne Rolling and 27-year-old Keith Hill for a series of robberies that have spanned from July 15 to early Friday morning. 

Friday morning officers said they were called to Scooters at 4040 N 72nd St. for a reported robbery that happened just before 6:30 a.m. 

Authorities said they found the suspects in the Scooters' robbery matched that of the suspects from an earlier robbery at the Comfort Suites at 10503 Bedford Ave., which happened around 5:45 a.m.

Through the investigation, officers said they found Rolling and Hill, and determined they were in involved in the following robberies:

  • July 15th - NP Mart - 4229 N 60th Street 
  • July 25th - NP Mart - 5608 Ames Avenue 
  • July 25th - La Quinta - 3333 N 104th Street 
  • July 26th - Family Dollar - 2930 Sprague Street 
  • July 26th - Family Dollar - 2601 N 16th Street 
  • July 28th - Comfort Suites - 10503 Bedford Avenue 
  • July 28th - Scooters - 4040 N 72nd Street

Rolling was booked for seven counts of robbery, seven counts of use of a weapon to commit a felony, felon in possession of a firearm, theft by receiving, and auto theft. 

Hill was booked for seven counts of robbery, seven counts of use of a weapon to commit a felony, felon in possession of a firearm, and theft by receiving.
