NEBRASKA -- Smoke from the Canadian wildfires continues to affect much of eastern Nebraska.

A smoke advisory was issued for eastern Nebraska on Thursday and is in effect until Friday afternoon.

Possible moderate to unhealthy air quality index impacts may affect Ainsworth, Beatrice, Broken Bow, Burwell, Columbus, Fremont, Geneva, Grand Island, Hebron, Holdrege, Lincoln, Kearney, Omaha, O’Neill, Red Cloud, Seward, Wayne, York, and surrounding areas.
