Five sent to hospital in crash Saturday afternoon

NORFOLK, Neb. — A car was flipped over and five were sent to the hospital in an accident Saturday afternoon in Norfolk.

Norfolk Police said the two vehicle accident happened at the intersection of Pasewalk Ave. and 11th St. in the early afternoon on Saturday.

A white jeep reportedly violated a stop sign, heading northbound on 11th St. before hitting another car that was traveling westbound on Pasewalk Ave.

The jeep was flipped over on its top and five people were sent to the hospital.

Norfolk Police and Norfolk Fire and Rescue assisted on scene for the accident.
