According to authorities, the Infiniti turned east onto E Sherwood Road in Norfolk and sped up again. The vehicle reportedly reached speeds of over 120 mph.

Police stated that the driver lost control of the Infiniti after two miles and crashed into the ditch but the driver was able to get out of the vehicle before fleeing on foot. The driver was taken into custody shortly after.
