NEBRASKA -- As some counties in Nebraska recover from the snow on Friday, some are preparing for additional snow in the southeastern part of the state.
According to the National Weather Service, Scottsbluff experienced almost nine inches of snow from the latest winter storm.
Seven Nebraska counties in Southeastern Nebraska remain in a winter weather advisory including Gage, Jefferson, Johnson, Nemaha, Otoe, Pawnee, and Richardson.
These areas could see accumulations of snow up to three inches until Sunday at 3 a.m. NWS advises to slow down and use caution while traveling as slippery road conditions are possible.
Northwest winds with gusts of 35 to 45 mph will produce areas of blowing snow through early Sunday afternoon in the Nebraska Panhandle. The weather service says this may lead to reduced visibility and slick travel conditions. Gusty winds and areas of blowing snow are possible in the wind prone areas through Tuesday.
