BATTLE CREEK, Neb. -- One of the most successful high school volleyball coaches in Nebraska will be back on the sidelines next year at a new school.
Battle Creek Public Schools announced on Monday that they've hired Tracy Kuester-Burtwistle as head volleyball coach.
Kuester-Burtwistle previously coached at Stanton, where she led the Mustangs to two title matches, and their first volleyball state title in 2016.
She left Stanton in 2019, and served as an assistant at Northeast Community College for a year, before helping with the Battle Creek program the last two seasons.
Kuester-Burtwistle takes over for Cody Wintz, who took the Bravettes to three state tournaments in his eight years as head coach.
