PIERCE - Make it three straight wins for Aquinas Catholic as they travel to Pierce and take care of the Bluejays 49-31.

The Monarch's senior leader, Bryant Stouffer, had a big night that started as early as the first shot. The Monarch's leaped out to a 19-5 lead in the first half, thanks to 19 first-half points from Stouffer.

The Bluejays fought into the third quarter, with Keaton Frazier and Brock Collison leading a comeback. At the end of three, Aquinas Catholic held a 31-23 lead.

Pierce would cut the deficit to 6 points at the start of the fourth, but Bryant Stouffer, Kason Lavicky and Kailer Pohl connected on five fourth quarter triples to extend the lead and hold on for the 49-31 victory.

Stouffer led all scoring with an explosive 32-point evening, while also securing 10 rebounds. Kason Lavicky added 8 points.

Pierce saw good performances from Keaton Frazier, scoring 13 points and Brock Collison, who added 10 points.

Aquinas improves to 7-5 on the year, while Pierce falls to 3-7.
