Shooting at Columbus Walmart hospitalizes man

At around 6:20 p.m. Tuesday, the Columbus Police Department was dispatched to the Supercenter on the east side of town for a report of a shooting, according to CPD.

COLUMBUS, Neb. --

A shooting at the Columbus Walmart sending one man to the hospital.

At around 6:20 p.m. Tuesday, the Columbus Police Department was dispatched to the Supercenter on the east side of town for a report of a shooting, according to CPD.

One man was taken to the Columbus Community Hospital by the Columbus Fire Department.

A male suspect is in custody without incident and no other information is being released at this time.
Authorities say the investigation is ongoing and there is no threat to the public.
