Extreme heat warnings and advisories are expected the next two days across Nebraska.

The National Weather Service has issued an extreme heat warning in northeast Nebraska, along with heat advisories in the central and western regions of the state.

The NWS says that temperatures are expected to be in the 90s with heat indices between 100-115°F. Recommending people to stay cautious to stay safe and cool. 

"Temperatures will slowly start to cool in some spots on Tuesday as a front moves across the area."
