NORFOLK, Neb.- In Norfolk, a group of kids is turning a lemonade stand into something much bigger.

It’s called Lemonade Camp— a hands-on summer program where young kids learn the ins and outs of running a business. From marketing to sign-making, these campers get to do it all.

But this lemonade stand is about more than just business. Every dollar raised goes straight to the Norfolk Fire Department’s Junior Fire Fund.

The fund helps purchase smoke detectors for local homes and community spaces — especially for those who may need replacements or can’t afford one.

This camp proves that even Norfolk’s youngest citizens can make a difference —
one glass of lemonade at a time.
