Ponca Express Receives U.S. Department of Transportation Regional Ridership Award

NORFOLK, Neb. - A Northeast Nebraska tribal transit is taking home high state honors.
The Ponca Express, a transportation service operated by the Ponca Tribe of Nebraska, was recently presented with an award recognizing highest total ridership among tribal transit systems in the Midwest region.
the U.S. Department of Transportation presented the award at the 2025 Midwest Transit Conference, this recognizing the Ponca Express for providing over 17 thousand rides in the community over the past year.
