Tactical unit serves search warrant in Norfolk

One man is in custody after several agencies served a search warrant Sunday in Norfolk.

NORFOLK, Neb. — One man is in custody after several agencies served a search warrant Sunday in Norfolk.

It happened in the early morning hours at a house on 1st Street near Michigan Avenue. Authorities aren’t releasing many details yet, but the Madison County Sheriff's Office says the Norfolk Police Tactical Response Unit was involved. Officers arrested a man for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana. Investigators also searched a storage unit in the 700 block of Glenwood Avenue.
