Semi accident on Highway 275 sends driver to the hospital, Sheriff says

An Iowa man is recovering from injuries suffered in a crash in northeast Nebraska.

NORFOLK, Neb.- An Iowa man is recovering from injuries suffered in a crash in northeast Nebraska.

It happened Wednesday afternoon on Highway 275 about three miles east of Norfolk.

The Stanton County Sheriff's Office says a man driving a semi hauling milk drove off the road and down an embankment.

Authorities say the driver was transported to Faith Regional Health Services Hospital in Norfolk for treatment of head injuries.

The wreck shut down the westbound lanes of the highway for about an hour and a half.

A Norfolk tow company was able to tow the trailer of milk to its destination in Norfolk.
