NORFOLK, Neb. — Two kids are safe after police say they got stuck on the roof of a department store after breaking into a mall.

The Norfolk Police Division says officers responded to the call around 5:00 a.m. Saturday. According to a police social media post, the juveniles stole a ladder, accessed the Sunset Plaza Mall roof and entered the mall. The ladder broke during their attempt to get back down, leaving them stranded on the roof of Kohl’s.
