Norfolk’s most dangerous burrito run: how one rock is at the center of it

And workers here can’t believe that this turn and this rock is creating such a ruckus.
“ No I have not hit it, no,” said Chipotle General Manager Brandon Carruthers. “ Next thing I know theres someone be like, theirs someone up on the rock, and Im like they’re no way. Theirs no way that rock you get a car stuck and you know I look around the corner, and their we are. They’re just a car up there, and Im just like, how does this even happen.”
Videos and pictures posted online show that five cars have collided with the rock, catching the attention of the Norfolk community and prompting the creation of a dedicated Facebook page.
Everyone from Country radio stations, animal shelter’s and even the Norfolk PD joined in on the sensation.
Customers who have been coming in can’t believe it that folks are actually getting stuck on a rock.
“ I guess it’s a little bit of a tight turn but they’re pretty big rocks so I don’t know how people aren’t missing,” said Gabrielle Mackey.
“I think that people need to get better at driving its Norfolk Nebraska it’s not that hard,” said Callie Schultz.
The latest victim to the rock happened on Tuesday, with visible traces of the incident still left behind.
“ As we take a look here we can see fresh tire marks lead to the rock of Norfolk known as Ron. So I think I am going to test this turn out for myself.
“Well I can confirm the turn here is pretty easy to make and to miss the rock here at Chipotle. But if you’re the kinda guy that’s afraid of your burrito from falling out from under you and you get it double wrapped you might want to get some extra insurance before turning here in to chipotle.”
