Well-known Hastings physician fills Chief Medical Officer position at MLH

After months of searching, Mary Lanning Healthcare has filled the Chief Medical Officer position.

HASTINGS, Neb.— After months of searching, Mary Lanning Healthcare has filled the Chief Medical Officer position. 

Dr. Zachary Frey will be moving into the position April 1. Dr. Frey has served the Hastings community for over 14 years, most recently at Hastings Family Care. 

Dr. Frey will continue to see his patients at HFC while also completing his duties for MLH. 

“Mary Lanning has an excellent medical staff that I have been fortunate to work alongside for the last 14 years,” Dr. Frey said in a news release. “I’m excited and honored to serve in this role to support them in continuing to provide great care to our patients and communities.”

As CMO, Dr. Frey will communicate between the medical staff and MLH, the news release says he will be making sure MLH provides the best care to patients.
