Annual event raises money in Norfolk

NORFOLK, Neb. -- The annual Big Give event in Norfolk raised almost $300,000 this year.

With the help of 1639 donors, a total of $297,109.28 was raised for over 30 Norfolk area nonprofits during the 2023 Norfolk Area Big Give.

The money raised came from both online and in-person donations. This amount made this year was $40,000 more than what was raised last year.

The event was created by the Philanthropy Council of Northeast Nebraska.
