NORFOLK, Neb. -- A Norfolk woman was arrested near Pilger for reportedly driving while intoxicated.

The Stanton County Sheriff's Office said they were notified that a vehicle heading west on Highway 275 was driving erratically and seemed to be dragging a bumper on the road around 12:00 a.m. Friday morning.

Officers said they stopped the vehicle near Pilger. The driver was 53-year-old Candi Kraut, of Norfolk, and she was reportedly intoxicated.

According to authorities, Kraut told them that she had hit an irrigation unit in Cuming County. 

Police said Kraut was booked for a fourth offense DWI and careless driving. She was jailed with a cash bond pending.
