Elkhorn Valley Museum will host its Trick or Treat in Haunted Verges Park and Cave
NORFOLK, Neb. -- The Elkhorn Valley Museum will be hosting its Trick-or-Treat in Haunted Verges Park and Cave event Wednesday night from 5 to 7.
The event is open to the public, featuring trick or treating in the cabin and schoolhouse, Halloween themed games, and...
"And brave the cave, so for that we partner with the AFS students at the high school, and they put on a friendly haunted house in the Verges cave,” said Libby McKay, Executive Director.
Now as this place is rumored to be haunted, it makes it the perfect place to house this event tomorrow.
But whether or not those rumored ghosts and goblins pop out to give you a scare on their own, the museum is going to make sure to transcend this place into a place of terror to give you a creepy scare.
"I love that I get to you know utilize our gorgeous park, which is in full color right now to have this fun, family event,” said McKay.
EVM has been putting on this event for quite some time, and will be continuing it this year despite what tricks the weather may have up its sleeve.
McKay said that the event will give the community the opportunity to unite for her favorite holiday.
"I think it's fun. As a parent I like it because I feel like my kids really get use out of those costumes that we make or order for them, and yeah I think it's just a nice for the community to get out and have fun together and celebrate,” said McKay.
Those in attendance can brave the cave for $2 and purchase hot cocoa and apple cider for a dollar a cup.
